EASA NIGHT RATING
Night Rating – EASA NR(A) allows you to fly during night time in Visual Meteorological Conditions (VMC) and extends the privileges of PPL(A) to flying after sunset under VFR.
THEORETICAL TRAINING
Consists of 5 hours of self-study on the EVIONICA interactive CBT platform.

The curriculum encompasses nine key subjects:
•Night Visual Flight Rules
•Instruments and Systems
•Human Factors
•Meteorology
•Flight Planning, Navigation, and Technique
•Abnormal Operations at Night

Upon completing the course you will be required to demonstrate a sufficient level of knowledge in these topics through a computer-based test, with a minimum score of 75%.

NR FLIGHT TRAINING
Consists of a minimum of 5 flight hours, including:

4 Hours of DUAL Flight Training
1 hour of SOLO Flight
REQUIREMENTS

PPL holder or

Have completed PPL Flight Training

Valid medical certificate

at least Class 2

The NVFR course costs
1 500€
without any hidden school fees*
Payment divided in 2 instalments:
  • 500€ at enrolment
  • 1000€ before commencing flight training
*The cost does not include:
  • aerodrome and handling fees ±100€
  • CAA tax for including the rating ±150€
