EASA PPL(A)
The Private Pilot License (PPL) is your gateway to aviation, allowing you to fly single-engine piston aircraft for personal and non-commercial purposes. Initially it allows for daytime flights under visual conditions, but you can afterwards expand your skills and privileges. And if you're aiming for a career in aviation, it sets the stage for obtaining the Commercial Pilot License (CPL).
THEORETICAL TRAINING
Consists of a minimum of 100 hours of instruction, this training program combines both self-study on the EVIONICA interactive CBT platform and in-person, instructor-led sessions.
The curriculum encompasses nine key subjects:

•Human Performance
•Meteorology
•Communications
•Operational Procedures
•Principles of Flight
•Flight Performance
•Aircraft General Knowledge
•Navigation

Upon completing the course you will be required to demonstrate a sufficient level of knowledge in these subjects through computer-based tests, with a minimum score of 75%.
FLIGHT TRAINING
Consists of a minimum of 45 flight hours, including:
• 33 Hours of DUAL Flight Training
• 12 hours of SOLO Flight Experience
After completing your flight training, you will be required to demonstrate the ability to serve as the Pilot in Command (PIC) for the designated aircraft category during a skill test conducted by an examiner from the Romanian Civil Aeronautical Authority.

REQUIREMENTS
AGE
At lest 16 years to start the course
At least 17 years to have the license issued
At least 17 years to have the license issued
Medical fitness
Must hold a valid Class 2 Medical Certificate
Qualifications
At least intermediate level of knowledge of the English Language
The PPL course costs
- without any hidden school fees*
- payment divided in four equal instalments of 3000€

- Theoretical and Flight Training as described above
- Pilot Logbook
- Student guide
- Vadul lui Vodă aerodrome fee
*The cost does not include:
- the class 2 medical certificate ±70€
- theoretical examination at the CAA ±50€
- language proficiency examination ±150€
- skill-test costs ±350€
- CAA tax for having the license issued ±50€
